Trundles 200 Series Landcruiser Build
The 200 Series Landcruiser has always been on our dream vehicle list and when the opportunity came up to buy this 2019 model with a mere 19,000kms on the clock, we jumped on it!
Factory, she drove beautifully - I really couldn't complain and it almost seemed a shame to go and modify her...but we have never be known to keep a truck standard for long.
Within a week the warranty was voided after we had it on the Dyno for a tune and we were pretty happy with a 50hp and 200nm gain over the factory figures with no modifications at all. Not so happy about the speeding ticket that turned up a few days later however!
Due to COVID, stock was harder to get than usual but we got there eventually. We had a specific look in mind for this vehicle along with making sure it was capable off-road and still comfortable to be in for long trips.
So far we have fitted the following:
SUSPENSION
FRONT:
- Dobinsons MRA 3 Way Adjustable Shocks
- Trundles Diff Drop
- Dobinsons Upper Control Arms
REAR:
- Dobinsons Coil Springs
- Dobinsons MRA 3 Way Adjustable Shocks
- Airbag setup with wireless control (theres not a lot of options in this for switches!)
WHEELS AND TYRES
- Method Race Wheels 312 Bronze 17x8.5 0P 5x150

2022 UPDATE
We have put another 20,000kms on the clock so time for some further developments!
In early 2022 our team of talented fabricators developed a 4" stainless snorkel kit, this has been designed to follow the curves of the A pillar. We are still undecided whether to leave it raw or have it powdercoated black.
We have also developed a 4" stainless exhaust. Both a DPF and turbo-back option will be available on our website soon.
We have also since removed the Kut Snake Flares (those big 35s went straight through them on the first sand dune jump!) and replaced them with a set of colour matched TRD flares, which are far more pleasing on the eye!
