These thermostats feature an extended body design that effectively blocks the bypass circuit, preventing hot coolant from circulating until the thermostat fully opens. This has been shown to significantly improve cooling performance in TD42 engines, particularly in those prone to the common “kettle” heating issue.

- Allows for fast and optimum cooling in the famously hot TD42 engines.
- Features a heat-sensing, wax-filled copper power pill to monitor coolant temperature. When the engine is cold, it blocks coolant flow to help it warm up faster. Once it reaches the right temperature, it opens to keep the engine running at its optimal level.
