Trundles Automotive – Warranty Policy
1. Trundles Warranty for Our Own Products
2. Manufacturer’s Warranty (Third-Party Brands)
- Trundles will act as your point of contact and assist with the warranty process.
- We may return the product to the manufacturer so they can assess whether a manufacturing fault has occurred.
- If the manufacturer confirms a defect, Trundles will repair, replace, or refund the product as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).
3. Warranty Exclusions

4. Rubber Bushes and Wear Components
- Warranty period: 3 months from purchase (manufacturing defects only).
-
Not covered: Normal wear, chemical contamination, lack of maintenance, or deterioration from heat/oil exposure.
5. Inspection & Return Timeframes
Products reported as faulty must be returned within 30 days of receiving a Warranty Reference Number (WRN) or return instructions from Trundles Automotive so the claim can be assessed.
Claims where goods are not returned within this timeframe may be closed and warranty eligibility may no longer apply.
Continued use of a product after a fault has been identified may cause further damage and may void warranty coverage.
6. Packaging & Returns
7. Modifications and Vehicle Legality
8. How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Submit a claim via our Warranty Claim Form.
- Our team will assess the claim and may request further photos, installation info, or diagnostics.
- If inspection is required, you’ll receive a Warranty Reference Number (WRN) and return instructions.
- Goods must not be returned without a WRN and must be returned within the timeframe specified in the return instructions.
- Once inspected, we’ll inform you of the outcome:
- If a manufacturing fault is confirmed: the product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
- If no fault is found: the item will be returned at your expense.
