The stock Upper Control Arms can hit the chassis seam on droop in some models.
With the vehicle on the ground, you can remove the top hat crush tube and shorten it around 10mm then refit. This in turn can shorten the shock extended length to give clearance - Some top hats have a longer crush tube which seems to be the cause of this.
Disclaimer: This product requires an LVV Certification to meet the current legal requirements for use on NZ public roads.
A wheel alignment must be performed after the installation of upgraded suspension parts. After a suspension lift, most ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) equipped vehicles will require calibration.
It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the ADAS re-calibration is carried out by a specialised technician to guarantee the safety of the vehicle and its occupants.
