Details:
- The Bad Boy turbo offers a boost potential of +30ps, excelling at higher boost levels but sacrificing 100–200rpm at the bottom end.
- It provides increased power at the same fuel delivery, making it ideal for automatics, as low RPM differences are negligible with a torque converter.
- The Bad Boy’s design boost is 28psi, operating efficiently between 14–35psi, with adjustable boost via a controller and gauge (preset at 22psi).
- A tuned factory injection pump can boost the TD42 engine from 280Nm/55rwkW to 430–460Nm/95–110rwkW.
- Advanced setups, including a large intercooler, 3” exhaust, custom pump, and upgraded airbox, can achieve up to 230rwkW and over 850Nm of crankshaft torque.
