If you are unsure about fitment, please contact us with your rego/VIN and a photo of the existing ball joint and upper control arm before installation.

CRITICAL FITMENT NOTICE – UCA COMPATIBILITY
Before ordering, you must physically inspect the front steering knuckle/upright on your vehicle.
Ford Everest vehicles may be fitted with either alloy or steel/cast knuckles. These require different Upper Control Arms and are not interchangeable.

How to identify your knuckle type:

Steel / Cast Knuckle: 
Rougher, darker cast finish

Alloy Knuckle: 
Smoother, lighter aluminium finish

If you are unsure which knuckle your vehicle has, send us a clear photo before ordering and we can help identify it. By purchasing, you confirm that you have checked the vehicle’s actual knuckle type and selected the correct UCA option.

Greasing Required 

This is a greaseable ball joint.
Grease thoroughly before installation
Re-grease at regular service intervals
Roadsafe recommends servicing greaseable joints at each oil change

Installation Warning
Do not press the ball joint into place by applying force to the ball stud.
For press-in installation, force must be applied evenly to the ball joint body/housing. Applying force through the ball stud can damage the internal components and cause premature wear.
