More Info:
These extended ball joints are designed to allow further lift over 2" to be achieved. Due to the factory suspension design there is limited upper arm clearance to the droop stop/upper bump stop. When lifted an extended ball joint lifts the upper arm away from the droop stop to allow more clearance. This then will gain more down travel if used with a long travel shock/strut spacer or allow lift above the 2” mark without sitting on the droop stop.
