Note: Most vehicles come with shock shaft spacers as a standard part of the shock/top hat assembly. Therefore, as long as the original spring seat height remains unaltered, LVVTA certification is not required for the shock shaft spacer.

More Information:
- Shock shaft spacers are placed under the top hat/strut mount to extend the shock length, allowing for increased droop travel. By substituting the original spacer with a slightly longer one, you can extend the shock's length and gain more droop travel.
- It is important to be aware of the limitations regarding how much you can extend a shock absorber's length before encountering issues such as ball joint bind or CV plunge and bind problems. Each situation should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the vehicle involved.
- A general rule of thumb is that the shock's length and droop travel will increase by 1.5 times the thickness of the spacer. For example, using a 10mm spacer will extend the length and droop by an additional 15mm, although this may vary depending on the specific vehicle model - if you are unsure, or own a Triton, please contact us first.
