79 Series makeover
This stunning new Sandy Taupe 79 traveled all the way from Queenstown for the Trundles makeover! Our customer was thrilled to see his vehicle plan come to life and was referred to us by a friend who had Chris tune his truck a decade ago. It's always fantastic to receive positive long-term feedback like this.
Overall he wanted to transform it into a functional, good looking and reliable vehicle that is suitable for family vacations and backcountry hunting trips. It won't be subjected to intense off-roading, focusing more on gravel and snow terrains rather than mud and sand, reflecting the typical conditions found in the South Island's High Country.
With a variety of exciting upgrades, this Landcruiser is fully equipped and prepared to take on the breathtaking and challenging trails of the stunning South Island.
Suspension Upgrades:
For the suspension set up our customer wanted a 2" lift that would ride well and have a good range for his intended off-road and on-road usage. So for these requirements we selected our Dobinsons Leaf and coil springs paired with the very popular MRA Adjustable shocks.
