After having so many customers bringing in their 79 series Landcruisers we decided it was about time to get our own and start working on some products that were highly requested!

It seems like almost overnight the new 79 series Landcruiser exploded in popularity and there was a steady stream of customers coming in to see us and get them modified. Some weeks our entire workshop was just full of 79s and nothing else!

After spending so much time working on improving these trucks and seeing what they can do we couldn't resist getting our own.
And so this arrived on a truck from Christchurch - It was low, slow and very basic but it wouldn't be that way for very long..

Trundle Edition 1

After doing some product development and testing it was decided to sell it and start on another one so off it went!

The next build was an LX model and after driving so many tuned vehicles it was a shock to the system to drive a stock one again so the first mod was a Unichip!

Trundle Edition 2

After the build on this one was finished on this one it went on a trip up north for the summer and when we got back Toyota NZ finally had some new VDJ76 wagons available. So this 79 series got sent for a full groom and up for sale it went!

Finally after seeing so many awesome Wagon builds across the ditch we managed to get our hands on a new one here in little old NZ!

After wanting one for so long seeing it turn up on the transporter was exciting for the whole team! Another Christmas break trip was coming up so the build for this one needed to be completed for that. Any spare minute in the workshop was spent on it along with a few late nights but it is now finally done!

Tuned to 349HP and 1050NM (at the wheels) on 17-1 AFR Compared to the advertised figures of 151kw and 430nm at the flywheel (113kw/320nm at the wheels)
